Willow Flowage June 19, 2021

The weather was beautiful for the Willow Flowage tournament. A mayfly hatch blanketed parts of the flowage, making fishing tough for many. In all, 14 limits were brought to the scales while 3 teams were unable to boat a keeper bass.

Pat Kilbey and Justin Borski bested the field with a monster bag of 19.15. This bag had not just one, but two, anchors: a 5.25-pound largemouth and a 4.30-pound smallmouth.

Rick Writz and Bernie Thompson took second with 18.22 pounds and Brian and Alex Gaber grabbed third place with their 17.27-pound limit.

Lake Puckaway May 8, 2021

Frigid temps and low water could not keep anglers away from Lake Puckaway today. While many teams struggled, others found the fish they were targeting. Big largemouth was a 5.46 pound monster brought in by Pat Kilbey and Justin Borski. Big Smallmouth was a 3.94 pounder brought in by Justin Koput and Reed Rossier.

Matt and Dan Hirman bested the field with a 16.76 limit. Koput and Rossier were a close second with 16.39, and Jay Pzrekurat and Dylan Minch grabbed third place with their limit of 15.72.
